Education is an important step in the fight against human trafficking. Most Israelis know little or nothing about human trafficking. The Task Force is working to educate law enforcement and private citizens on how best to prevent human trafficking in the country.

Here’s what we’re doing to keep people informed:

• Developing curriculum materials for use in schools throughout Israel to help promote awareness and eliminate demand.
• Collaborating with two schools on broadcasting to create public awareness materials about modern slavery in Israel.
• Designing workshops for law enforcement officers on how to identify and assist victims.
• Organizing a mass public awareness event in commemoration of the International day for the Abolition of Slavery.
